The RTD comes with temperature indicating transmitter which can be used as a temperature measurement device, usually by passing a low-level current through it and measuring the voltage drop.

Eureka's RTD comes with significant advantages over its competitors such as a significant reduction in the cost of RTD wire especially when the control room is far from the point of application.
